Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic PreK 3 Site Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education program for three-year-olds. In this vital role, you will cultivate a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Your leadership will ensure the program runs smoothly, complies with all regulatory standards, and fosters a vibrant community of learners, families, and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experiences of young children while managing a dedicated team of educators. Must have a BAS in Early Childhood Education, AAS in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or Texas Director Credential Certification. At least 2 years experience Director in licensed facility/TRS accredited facility.
Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to create an enriching and inclusive classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of PreK 3 students
- Oversee daily program operations, ensuring adherence to curriculum standards, safety protocols, and licensing requirements
- Recruit, train, support, and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high-quality instruction and professional growth
- Collaborate with families to foster strong relationships, communicate student progress, and address individual needs effectively
- Manage administrative responsibilities including budgeting, scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance documentation
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional regulation
- Lead team meetings and professional development sessions to promote best practices in early childhood education
Skills
- Proven experience in higher education teaching or early childhood education administration with a focus on preschool programs
- Strong background in education administration with demonstrated leadership in a school or educational setting
- Prior university experience or extensive teaching experience working directly with young children and their families
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff, parents, and community partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and fostering a positive team environment
- Knowledge of licensing standards, health and safety regulations for early childhood programs, and curriculum development
- Passion for early childhood development combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation
