What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Assistant Teacher position at Kiddie Kastle Childcare?
We are an in home daycare seeking an energetic, dependable and passionate part time assistant teacher to join our crew!
Hours:
- Monday’s (8:00 am to 1:00 pm)
- Tuesday’s (8:00 am to 3:00 pm.)
- Thursday’s ( 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.)
- Additional hours may be added as based upon needs of the childcare program.
Starting date is October 5th. Must be willing to commit to at least 1 year.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Certified in CPR/First Aid
- Have a food handlers permit
- A minimum of 2 years working with multiple children or in a childcare setting.
- Ability to collaborate with other teachers and staff members.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and assist in the implementation of curriculum and daily activities.
- Provide basic care for children.
- Create/maintain a clean, safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.
*At this time we are not looking for candidate’s who need to bring their children with them.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 17.0 per week
