What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Pre-Open Operations position at Kiddie Academy?
About the position
As the Director of Pre-Open Operations, you will provide direct day-to-day oversight of a designated team of Academy opening support personnel within the Operations Department to support the integrity and quality of Kiddie Academy Operating Systems on a continuous basis in franchised locations. You will also lead your team in franchisee onboarding and empowering new locations to achieve strong enrollment, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and long-term profitability through strong franchisee-franchisor partnerships.
This position is based in our Corporate Office located in Abingdon, Maryland.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree
- 5 years’ experience with Educational Childcare or Franchise Operations
- 3 years supervisory experience leading a team preferred
- Experience with sales, marketing, regulatory agencies and business management
- Ability to travel
- Well organized, with strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Attention to details with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work proactively and provide problem-solving abilities
- Exemplary commitment to customer service and the success of franchisees and Kiddie Academy
