1 Year Old Closer

Kiddie Academy of Staten Island is an independently owned Educational Franchise daycare facility. We are looking to hire energetic and enthusiastic individuals who will utilize our learning through-play curriculum for our Preschool program for the 1-year-old age group.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a nurturing and safe environment for our students.
• Focusing on the student's social and emotional development.
• Diaper Changing.
• Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds to at least waist high consistently throughout the workday.
• Verify and complete classroom paperwork, such as health checks, daily notes, accident reports, and attendance reports.
• Closing down the classroom appropriately when all students have dismissed.
• Assist with ensuring all policies and procedures are being implemented to keep the children healthy and safe.
• Assist children with mealtimes and cleanup.
• Report any problems to the Academy Management.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
• Must be able to work 5 days a week, 12 pm until 7 pm
• At least 1 year of experience working with preschoolers of the appropriate age
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibits the basic core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility

Pay: $17.00 per hour
