Qualifications:
All candidates who wish to be considered for the position of Lead Teacher must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 19 years of age, and meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Proof of current and active enrollment in a CDA Credentialing Program, Associate's degree program or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field OR;
- A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential, an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field (A related field as defined by the State of Michigan Department of LARA includes: Elementary Education, Child Guidance/Counseling, Child Psychology, Family Studies or Social Work)
- Professional experience working with children or in early childhood/elementary education
