Duties
- Assist in menu planning
- Heat and serve a variety of dishes in accordance with safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, stove top, and culinary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances regularly to meet hygiene regulations
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or food service environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food industry standards and safety regulations
- Proficiency in simple menu planning, food preparation, and operating kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with administrative team and teachers
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards
- Experience with large-scale meal preparation is a plus
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
