Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals for children.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Ensure food safety standards are met at all times.
• Support with food service during meal times.
• Assist in inventory management of kitchen supplies.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive dining experience for children.
• Follow all health regulations regarding food handling and preparation.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in cooking and meal preparation.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
• Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in childcare or educational settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines is a plus.
• Food Handlers Certification or willingness to obtain one
