VPK Lead Teacher – Kiddie Academy of Longwood-Lake Mary
Longwood/Lake Mary, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $17 /hour (based on experience and education)
Kiddie Academy of Longwood-Lake Mary, a NAEYC-accredited preschool, is seeking a qualified and passionate VPK Lead Teacher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early childhood educator looking to grow within a high-quality preschool environment focused on kindergarten readiness and child development.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lessons aligned with Florida VPK standards
- Maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate with families regularly
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Qualifications
- CDA, FCCPC, or degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Completion of 45 DCF training hours
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center
- Previous VPK teaching experience required
