Duties
- Assist lead teachers in preparing classroom materials and setting up engaging activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills
- Support children with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children
- Provide one-on-one support for children with special needs or disabilities, implementing individualized care plans under supervision
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Engage children in educational play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other activities that stimulate cognitive and emotional growth
- Collaborate with team members to monitor developmental milestones and communicate observations to lead teachers or caregivers
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and caregivers effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners’ growth and well-being
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or classroom needs; patience and enthusiasm are essential
