What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of childcare/preschool classroom experience – REQUIRED
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to establish consistent classroom routines and expectations
- Professional and dependable
- Strong communication skills with children, families, coworkers, and administration
- A genuine team player who is willing to help where needed
- Flexible and comfortable working with different preschool age groups when necessary
- Able to accept feedback, coaching, and direction professionally
- Willing to mentor and support less-experienced coworkers when appropriate
- Comfortable working in a busy, changing, and sometimes challenging environment
- Someone who sees challenges as opportunities to help improve the classroom and school rather than becoming discouraged by them
- Familiarity with Texas Child Care Minimum Standards preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to complete required certification
