Our locally owned Kiddie Academy is seeking an Early Childhood Center Director who is passionate about high-quality childcare and believes strong leadership starts with supporting and developing the people around you.

As Director, you will guide our teaching team, ensure regulatory excellence, and help maintain the high standards of safety, professionalism, and educational quality that families expect from Kiddie Academy.

Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of early childhood educators
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, and professional workplace culture
- Provide coaching and guidance to help teachers succeed in their classrooms
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of staff
Program Quality & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL childcare regulations
- Maintain licensing standards, safety practices, and classroom ratios
- Support implementation of developmentally appropriate practices
Center Operations
- Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and classroom coverage
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
- Utilize technology systems for enrollment, reporting, and communication
Family Relationships
- Build strong partnerships with families
- Communicate professionally and proactively with parents
- Address concerns in a calm, solutions-focused manner
Enrollment & Administration
- Support enrollment growth and retention
- Maintain organized administrative systems
- Ensure a smooth experience for both families and staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- (or qualifications that meet PA Director requirements)
- 2 years leadership experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania DHS/OCDEL childcare regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support and mentor teachers in a positive, professional manner
- Comfortable using computers and technology for documentation and communicationWhat We Offer
