Private Pre-K Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young learners
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Skills:
- Experience working with children in a daycare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to teach basic math, literacy, and other foundational skills
- Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines
- Passion for educating young children and fostering their love of learning
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Ability to develop engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum

Required Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED(Required)
• CDA, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree (or working toward achieving) in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers and commitment to nurturing their development
• Meet Georgia state licensing requirements for EEC professional qualifications
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must pass a state and company background check
