Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Generally, is assisted in the classroom by an assistant teacher. Lead Teacher are responsible for ensuring that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed
- Completes all academy and lead teacher classroom paperwork: for example, daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports.
- Manage all academy and classroom paperwork are in proper order for lead teachers classroom: for example, daily notes, accident reports, and attendance reports
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
- Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.
- Reports any problems to the teacher-in-charge or the director.
- Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.

Meets all state requirements for the position. Must have advance diploma such as associates degree, CDA diploma or equivalent. 1 to 2 years of experience working in group child care (preferred).
