School Age Teacher & Bus Driver | Part-Time | $14–$15/Hour
Pay: $14.00–$15.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
**Please note this is a split shift part time position. Your regular shift would be from 6am-8am & 2:30pm - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday**

Kiddie Academy of Grand Harbor is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic School Age Teacher to join our growing team in Katy, TX. What You'll Do
As a School Age Teacher, you'll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, explore, and thrive.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Transport children to and from their elementary school to our Daycare Center.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate daily with parents regarding children's progress and development.
- Complete attendance, daily reports, accident reports, and required classroom documentation.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and academy leadership.
- Maintain classroom materials and ensure all equipment is safe and well organized.
- Follow all Texas licensing requirements and Kiddie Academy policies.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with school age children 5yrs - 12yrs old.
- Has a valid drivers license and can safely transport children to and from elementary school
- Is passionate about early childhood education.
- Is patient, dependable, nurturing, and energetic.
- Communicates effectively with children, families, and coworkers.
- Meets all Texas state licensing requirements for this position.
- Can lift up to 40 pounds throughout the workday.
Preferred:
- Experience in a licensed childcare center or accredited early childhood education program.
- Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum.
