Kid Ventures Preschool Academy is looking to add to our already amazing and talented staff. We are seeking talented and passionate Infant Teachers who want to be a part of our new and growing infant preschool program.
This is not your traditional preschool opportunity; Kid Ventures’ award-winning, creative childcare space provides an unparalleled foundation for children to learn & grow with a play-to-learn based approach.
The ideal candidates will have experience teaching children ages 0 - 12 months. This role requires leading early sensory development and providing warm, responsive care. You’ll work in an award-winning creative space, fostering growth through play and partnering with parents to navigate their child's very first milestones.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensing Requirements: Must meet California Childcare Licensing Requirements for Infant/Toddler centers, including completion of required infant/toddler units.
- Experience: Educational background with experience teaching infants and executing sensory-rich play routines.
- Commitment: A passion for early childhood learning with a firm commitment to play-based development.
- Cleanliness & Detail: Keeping the infant classroom structured, sanitary, and consistent is an absolute must.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, highly organized multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Willingness to co-teach, collaborate, and support classroom partners.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid Certified.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Classroom Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership, guiding little ones through sensory, motor-skill, and emotional development.
- Loving Care: Guarantee the physical and emotional safety of infants in a warm, nurturing, and highly responsive environment.
- Sensory Engagement: Facilitate age-appropriate experiences including music, tummy time, sensory play, and gentle storytelling.
- Parent Communication: Build trusting relationships with parents through consistent communication, daily updates, and developmental progress sharing.
- Safe Environment: Maintain a secure, allergen-free, and clean environment where infants can comfortably explore their world.
