What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Kid to Kid Medford?
We are looking for outgoing and friendly retail sales associates and product processors. Duties include running the cash register, sorting through consignment items, maintaining sales racks, and more. Sales Associates work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and assisting customers through the process of selling to us. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with desired product and maintain our stores friendly and inviting environment. Product processors are expected to tag, hang, and sort incoming clothing in an efficient manner to ensure the floor is full. To be a successful processor you should be organized, detail oriented, and be able to self manage your time well.
Responsibilities of Both Positions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and prompt service
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- “Go the extra mile” to help customers and your team
- Maintain clean and presentable racks
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service and efficiency
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
