Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities that encourage creativity and curiosity.
- Help supervise children during daily routines such as meal times, nap times, diaper changes, pottying, and outdoor play.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to observe developmental milestones and communicate any concerns or notable progress.
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive community focused on growth and well-being.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team dedicated to nurturing young learners.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
