Overview
Kid’s Castle Learning Center is seeking a passionate, dependable, and energetic Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team! This position plays an important role in creating a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 3–5.
Duties
- Open the center each morning at 6:30 a.m.
- Lead and manage a staff of 5 teachers within the preschool program
- Oversee classroom operations and maintain a positive team environment
- Plan and oversee daily curriculum, learning activities, and classroom routines
- Implement engaging lessons that support cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development
- Work closely with the Education Coordinator to support curriculum planning and classroom goals
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive classroom management techniques
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Ensure classroom compliance with Arkansas licensing regulations and center policies
- Assist with classroom organization, documentation, and developmental assessments as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children ages 3–5
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff preferred
- Passion for early childhood education
- Dependable, organized, and positive attitude
- CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related experience preferred
