Controller Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Controller to manage the financial operations of a growing behavioral health organization. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks expertise, deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, and the ability to maintain accurate, compliant, and transparent financial reporting.
Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management for multiple agencies as well as management company
- Maintain accurate client billing, insurance reimbursements, inter-agency charges and revenue recognition
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Reconcile all bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts in QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to develop financial insights that drive operational decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Oversee and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and system efficiencies.
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and support data-driven planning for program expansion and staffing
