Nanny

Location: Los Angeles
Job Type: Part Time to Full Time
Pay: $20 to $22 per hour, with overtime at $30 to $33 per hour

Are you an experienced infant caregiver who enjoys creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children? We are hiring reliable, caring nannies to support families with infants and toddlers while parents work. Most assignments take place Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours, with opportunities for consistent scheduling and long term placements.

This role is ideal for experienced nannies, babysitters, daycare teachers, preschool staff, church nursery workers, or anyone with hands on infant care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age appropriate care for infants and toddlers
• Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
• Engage children through play, reading, music, arts and crafts, and other developmental activities
• Follow each family's routines and care instructions
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding daily activities and child progress
• Maintain a clean and organized play area, including cleaning up children's activities
• Arrive on time and provide dependable, high quality care

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year of hands on infant care experience
• Experience as a nanny, babysitter, daycare teacher, preschool teacher, church nursery worker, or similar childcare role
• Available at least 5 days per week for shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM lasting 6 to 9 hours
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Able to provide 3 references, including 2 childcare references and 1 character reference
• Excellent communication skills
• Dependable, responsible, and passionate about working with children

Required Certifications

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain through employer provided training

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 35 pounds safely
• Frequently bend, squat, reach, push, and sit on the floor
• Move quickly to respond to children's needs and emergencies
• Participate in active indoor and outdoor play
• Work in an active childcare environment while maintaining a safe and organized space
