About the Family:
We are an active, loving family of five with a large, friendly 90-pound dog named Janet. We value daily family dinners, reading with our children, and spending time outdoors. Mom works from home and keeps an organized, tidy household. Dad works outside the home and stays active and engaged with the kids when he is home.
Our children are sweet, energetic, and fun. Our 1-year-old is a happy baby who enjoys people, animals, and physical play. Our 3-year-old attends half-day preschool, communicates well, and loves playing outside, digging, reading, and running around.

You are energetic, outgoing, and comfortable staying busy throughout the day. You appreciate a tidy home and naturally help maintain it. You value strong relationships with children and parents and are looking for a long-term position with a family that appreciates your care. You are present, observant, playful, and engaged, meeting children at their level and listening to their needs. You must love dogs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Full childcare responsibilities for a 3-year-old and 1-year-old
- Diapering, feeding, soothing, and following nap routines
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate play and ensuring safety
- Outdoor playtime
- Preparing children’s meals and snacks
- Cleaning up after meals and play
- Washing baby bottles and children’s dishes
- Light household tasks related to children:
- Kids’ laundry
- Cleaning kitchen counters
- Organizing children’s drawers and closets
- Restocking diapers and wipes
- Emptying diaper pails
- Cleaning the changing table
- Running the robot vacuum as needed
- Packing preschool lunch
- Preschool drop-off and pick-up using the family vehicle
- Caring for the family dog as needed (occasional walks, refilling water bowl)

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of childcare experience with ages 1–4
- Physically active and able to manage an energetic schedule
- High school graduate
- Able to read and write in English
- Comfortable with a large dog
- Infant/Child CPR certified or willing to obtain
- Clean driving record and safe driving habits
- Willing to work when children are mildly ill
- Basic cooking ability
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Ability to teach a new skill (such as Spanish or another language)
- Interest in child development
- Enjoyment of cooking, including potential to prepare family meals 1–2 times per week
