What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cutting Operator position at KICTeam, Inc?
Operator Cutting Press will be required to learn all Safety, Quality, Operation, start up and setup of various cutting machines. Machine efficiencies and material yields will be important focus. Maintain accurate production tags, and hour Q.C. check and logging the results as required.
Reports to: Cutting Lead
Primary Responsibilities:
· Work as part of a team to load and/or pack products to and from the cutting machines.
· Learn start up, set up, die changes, and operating procedures on the cutting machines.
· Clean, lubricate and maintain the machine.
· Assures all cut products meet productions tag specifications
· lifting requirements (50 lbs.).
· Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.
· Self-starter with ability to work independently from written and verbal instructions.
· Commitment to producing quality products
· Attention to details
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Learn set up and operation of other plant equipment
· Other duties as required
Minimum Previous Experience:
· Minimum 1 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, machine operations
· Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
