Kickr Design is looking for an exceptionally talented, driven and detail oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for new product development in a variety of industries (Medical, IoT, wireless communication, robotics, industrial and many more), is capable of juggling multiple projects at one time while maintaining excellent organization and can demonstrate an ability to quickly and creatively solve problems. The position requires an individual who works well in teams and interfaces with clients. You will be working closely with Designers, Engineers, Customers and Vendors to make sure that all projects are on-schedule and run as smoothly as possible.
You will focus on contributing to our new product development and medical projects and need the ability to advise our customers on efficient and effective project approaches. Innovation mindset and in depth knowledge of the new product development process are key. Knowledge of the medical device industry and regulatory process is a plus. As an EE you will be carrying out technical work on projects, participating in technical reviews, working to help ensure project success, and contributing on all aspects of the EE design from architecture to layout, prototyping, testing and manufacturing.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years Electrical Engineering experience
- High EQ and excellent situational awareness
- Excellent communication skills developed through experience working directly with clients and engineering teams
-Lead customers through the product development process
- In depth knowledge and experience with Electrical product design
- System-Level Design:
- Integration of hardware with software and mechanical components
- Understanding of mechatronics and system interfacing
- Electronics architecture
- PCB design, prototyping, and debugging
-Multi-layer PCB layout and routing
-Component selection
-Analog and digital design
- signal integrity analysis
- Power Management:
-Battery integration and charging circuits
-DC/DC converters and power supply design
-Low-power system optimization
- Sensors and Actuators:
-Integration and calibration of sensors (e.g., temperature, pressure, motion).
-Motor drivers and actuator control
- Testing and Validation:
-Developing test plans and protocols
-Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters)
-Debugging complex hardware and firmware issues
- Knowledge about electronics manufacturing
- Electrical aptitude and knowledge of best practices and techniques
-Regulatory knowledge such as FCC and UL. IEC 60601, ISO 13485 are a plus
-EMI/EMC compliance testing and troubleshooting.
- Altium experience
- Ability to deeply understand client/user needs and propose efficient and effective solutions to help solve them
- Document and communicate progress with team and customers, maintain project schedules and timelines
- Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Medical device development experience and knowledge of IEC 60601 is a plus
- Firmware/Software experience is a plus
- Assisting the management team in optimizing, developing and improving the Electrical engineering process at Kickr Design.

Compensation Range
110k - 160k
Salary : $110,000 - $160,000
