What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist position at KickCharge Creative?
KickCharge Creative, the award-winning branding and marketing agency for small businesses, is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist who is ready to take full ownership of our AR and AP processes. If you thrive on getting things done, love building structure, and work well in a creative, fast-moving environment, this role is for you.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-obsessed, process-driven, and excited to play a key role in helping our team operate at its best.
What You’ll Do
- Handle all aspects of accounts receivable/payables with accuracy and care
- Collaborate with account executives and the operations team to ensure client onboarding, payment terms, and ACH setups are smooth and error-free
- Own and maintain our invoicing workflows, improving and streamlining wherever possible
- Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and keep the team informed
- Bring structure to chaos, stay organized, and keep things moving forward
Your Superpowers
You’re meticulous… you triple-check your work, catch tiny details others miss, and take pride in clean, accurate financials. You have at least 2 years of office AR experience. You know QuickBooks Online inside and out… invoicing, ACH payments, recurring sales receipts, reconciling deposits, and more. You’re a systems thinker who loves improving workflows and finding better ways to do things. You’re organized by nature, and your to-do list is your compass. You’re a strong communicator who can explain payment terms to clients just as easily as you can collaborate with a teammate. And above all, you’re reliable…when something’s on your plate, it gets done and gets done right.

Work Location: Must be able to work full-time on-site at our office in Washington, NJ (Warren County). Friday’s entire office is remote.
