The Culinary Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Kickback Jack’s recipes and quality standards. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, line cooks ensure food is cooked to perfection and plated correctly for a great guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station throughout the shift.
- Work with the team to ensure food orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor food quality and freshness; report any inconsistencies.
- Comply with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by the Kitchen Leader.
