What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Kickapoo Creek Saloon?
Overview
We are a small town bar and grill that is well established in the community. We are looking to fill shifts mostly day shifts during the week. This role could easily turn into a full time manager position or stay as a part time bartender. Cash tips!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Manage cash handling and credit card sales
- Restock bar supplies proactively to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff
Requirements
- experience helps or we can train you!
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, drink mixing ratios, and retail math calculations
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Must be at least 21 years old
