What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Dealer position at KICKAPOO CASINO?
Provide an entertaining and professionally dealt game and ensure all policies and procedures as outlines by the casino are properly followed.
1. Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
2. Exchange customers currency for checks (chips) and deposit paper currency in the proper container (drop box).
3. Ensure the security of all gaming chips.
4. Notify Floor Supervisor of any irregularities or disputes.
5. Assist players in playing to established rules, policies and procedures.
6. Maintain a constant vigilance of cards, ensuring the security of the game at all times.
7. Ensure wagers are placed before the cards are dealt.
8. Keep assigned areas clean.
9. Professional appearance (well groomed)
10. Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
11. Adhere to all approved policies and procedures.
12. Knowledge of the application and completion of SAR (suspicious activity report).
13. Policies and Procedures for Table Games Department.
14. Progressive discipline procedures for attendance, and other violations.
Qualifications:Physical Requirements:
- Walking or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
- Occasional lifting (up to 30lbs.)
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop.
Working Conditions:
- Typical of that of a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.
