Position Summary

The Parts Manager is a pivotal role tasked with effectively leading the location’s retail Aftermarket business to drive retail efforts in Parts while supporting Service to maximize profitability. This is accomplished through discovering and meeting customer needs and effectively leading and coaching the Parts team. This role works closely with the store Service Manager to promote the entire aftermarket portfolio. This role requires key personal qualities such as confidence, competitiveness, a drive to succeed, strong communication skills, and teamwork. Critical decision-making skills coupled with a commitment to constant learning and improvement are essential. Success in this role hinges on a strong work ethic, high moral standards, professionalism, and pride in delivering quality work, all aimed at building customer relationships and satisfaction in alignment with organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clear direction and leadership, emphasizing excellent customer service skills among direct reports.
  • Lead by example, creating a professional customer experience in facilities and product presentation.
  • Execute effective Aftermarket strategies and processes to ensure satisfaction among internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with the District Operations Manager/Area Product Support Manager and Service Manager to develop the location’s Aftermarket Sales strategy.
  • Drive all Aftermarket Sales strategies, focusing on selling Parts and Service solutions in line with revenue goals.
  • Partner with Service Manager to ensure consistent positive customer experiences within the Aftermarket segment.
  • Take accountability for the financial performance of the department, including achieving profitable sales growth, disciplined expense control, and targeted net return on sales.
  • Exhibit outstanding communication skills and collaborate with other departments and locations.
  • Work with peers to maintain proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving inventory performance standards.
  • Oversee ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts, ensure parts are being transferred in a timely manner, and manage inventory in cooperation with Parts Support Analysts.

Qualifications

  • Ability to foster teamwork and cultivate positive relationships with peers.
  • Proficiency in database software, online parts books, and standard computer applications like Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of Sales experience.
  • 2 years of Sales or Retail Management experience.
  • Previous experience in the agricultural industry or equipment dealership.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation

The following represents Kibble Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a salary role with a starting base of $64,800.00 and going up to $85,000 based on experience. This role is also incentive eligible with additional upside.
