What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Retail Attendant - Osprey Point position at Kiawah Island Golf Resort?
Position Summary: The Golf Pro Shop provides casual, friendly service while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The retail attendant position with the assistance of managers and supervisors, is to proficiently attend to the guests’ needs with accurate and informative service. Operation of a point of sale system, responding to guest both in person and via telephone are integral to this position.
Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education – Currently in school working towards graduation, have already received a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum Experience - 6 months prior retail experience with a similar retail establishment preferred.
- Ability to complete monetary transactions correctly.
- Must be able work both independently as well in a team environment.
- Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Employee must be able to make good decisions with confidential information regarding events and guests of Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Essential Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand for entirety of shift, bending, stretching, and lifting.
- Must be able to properly and effectively communicate with guests, in person and via phone.
