Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower displays through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers with precision and safety
- Execute hardscape maintenance tasks including cleaning pathways, repairing pavers or concrete surfaces, and installing or maintaining outdoor structures
- Use construction machinery like excavators for site preparation or landscape installation projects
- Conduct seasonal tasks such as verticutting, spider web removal, beach erosion mitigation.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency
- Perform routine inspections of trees for health and safety; carry out tree trimming or removal as needed under safety guidelines
- Support general maintenance activities including equipment upkeep, minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and hand tools is essential
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques such as mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control
- Hands-on experience operating power tools like trimmers, blowers, or chainsaws is highly desirable
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care and landscape design enhances your effectiveness
- Experience working with construction equipment such as excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
