About the Role: Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you’ll play a key role in the final assembly and packaging of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following production schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble and package products according to work instructions and schedules.
- Operate hand tools and production equipment (e.g., presses, drills, robots, vacuum lifts).
- Use scanning equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
- Train new technicians in your cell.
- Participate in Kaizen events and layout planning.
- Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols.
- Report safety concerns to leadership.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Skills & Traits:
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Dependable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work under tight deadlines.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to walk, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Work performed in a manufacturing facility that is not fully climate controlled.
- Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
