The inventory specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintain the organization’s inventory of raw materials, components, and finished products.

Responsibilities And Requirements
- Performs necessary inventory transactions such as scrap materials, product used for replacements, testing or as samples, vendor returns, physical count adjustments and correction of errant reporting.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in physical and BPCS records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Use reports to monitor inventory status. Troubleshoot & problem-solve any issues.
- Ensure inventory is stored properly to prevent damage, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Documentation of MDM changes, negative inventory, dollar values of inventory transactions and gross margins.
- Analyze inventory management practices and recommend improvements to operations.
- Implement best practices in inventory control to minimize waste, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
