Social Media Intern (Part-Time, Paid)
Location: Remote / On-site for content
Time Commitment: Approximately 15–20 hours per month
Compensation: $18-22/hour
We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to support content collection, post creation, and trend awareness across multiple brands. This role is ideal for someone who lives on social media, understands what performs well, and enjoys turning raw content into engaging posts.
You’ll work closely with a marketing strategist to help execute content plans, stay ahead of trends, and keep social feeds fresh, relevant, and on-brand.
- Collect and organize content (photos, videos, b-roll, UGC)
- Create and schedule social media posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Stay up to date on social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform updates
- Suggest content ideas based on current trends and brand goals
- Write captions aligned with brand voice and marketing objectives
- Assist with basic hashtag research and post optimization
- Maintain content folders and posting calendars
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Actively follows social media trends and viral content
- Basic content creation skills (short-form video, photos, captions)
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently with clear direction
- Familiarity with tools like Canva & CapCut, or similar is a plus
- Hands-on experience working with real brands and marketing strategies
- Insight into content planning, execution, and performance
- Portfolio-worthy work and mentorship from an experienced marketer
