Seasonal Delivery Drivers Wanted: Buffalo/WNY (Use Your Own Vehicle)
Earn $2.00 per stop in Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda, and Grand Island, and $1.80 per stop in Tonawanda. Typical peak days run 80-100 stops. We deliver 7 days a week through Nov-Dec, with a chance to continue after the season. Volume starts lighter and ramps up by late November. Pickup is at 11am in Cheektowaga.
Independent contractor (1099). A $30 weekly insurance and payroll processing fee applies only on weeks you work, and you cover your own vehicle expenses. Need: valid license, insurance in your name, reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate your own vehicle to deliver packages to residential addresses within assigned routes and timeframes.
- Ensure accurate and complete loading of packages into your vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and parking, maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Remain professional and courteous under all circumstances
- Utilize navigation tools and apps to optimize your routes and efficiently navigate through traffic.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the dispatch to provide updates and resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
Requirements:
- No CDL is required
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- MUST own a reliable, well-maintained vehicle (Minivans and Cargo Vans preferred)
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using smartphone apps and navigation tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as required.
