Duties
- Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination.
- Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for organizational efficiency.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or retail store delivery roles is preferred.
