Doctor of Chiropractic

Seeking a personable, hardworking, ethical, and motivated Doctor of Chiropractic for our Rio Grande Valley locations. Candidate must be motivated, hardworking, reliable, and be ready to become part of our team. Candidate must be willing to travel to other clinics in the area to assist as needed. Personal Injury experience preferred. Spanish speaking a plus. This position is available immediately. Summary of Essential Job Functions include:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and completing patient initial examinations, and developing of individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on the therapy modalities recommended/used and the benefit of each
• Provide a high volume of chiropractic adjustments as needed for the patient caseload. Manual adjustments may be to the spine or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary
• Complete timely progress re-evaluations and reports of findings
• Able to use office and clinic equipment and software
• Complete timely, accurate, and clear documentation of services rendered
• Maintain a professional appearance to represent our company
• Be reliable and available to regularly attend the normal work schedule
• Provide coverage if needed at other Rio Grande Valley area locations (and future locations)
• Provide telemedicine and participate in telehealth services as needed
• Participate in marketing practices as needed to help in growing and expanding the practice and the enjoy the growth and success of the clinic
• Participate in training of team members on all the therapy modalities and proper use of the equipment
• Help to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Assist in providing therapy modalities to patient if necessary or when caseload permits it
• Participates in training to stay up to date with new treatment protocols, including new equipment, modalities, exercises, Etc.
• Use HIPAA standards for all customers and clients and stay current on annual HIPAA training
• Represent Khit Chiropractic: Attend health fairs, attend job fairs, participate in other community events if necessary

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Chiropractic Texas License in good standing, or qualified to apply and obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic License in Texas
• Have a outgoing demeanor and be a team player
• Skilled in diverse adjustments
• Able to stand for extended periods of time to complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and adjustments as needed
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 7:30pm with a lunch break
• Able to attend orientation and initial training at our home clinic in Mission, Texas
• Able to attend trainings and meetings 1 to 2 times per year at other clinic locations in Texas or other selected destinations
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear appropriate attire
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to complete accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, re-exams, report(s) of findings, and other written communications. Understands if needed, the Doctor may need to work outside the normal business hours to submit documentation in a timely manner
• Enthusiastic approach to customer service and patient care
• Dedication to providing the highest quality of care and services to our patients and clients
• Have an excellent bedside manner
• Able to use all the therapy, office equipment, and documentation software or be willing to learn
• Able to take diagnostic X-rays when medically necessary (or be willing to learn)
