In this role, you will support our internal sales teams, assist clients with exceptional customer service, handle daily administrative tasks, and oversee front desk reception. KHI Solutions sells and services Medicare Supplement/Advantage/Drug plans, Under-65 private health insurance, and Employer Group plans. We also support 400 licensed agents across the state.
We are seeking a candidate with at least 2 years of office experience (phone & email communication required) and proficiency in Excel. Insurance experience is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train a driven, detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills. The selected candidate must be willing to obtain their Iowa Health Insurance License, and KHI will cover all licensing costs.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
- Respond to questions and service requests via phone, email, or in person
- Assist clients with Medicare and individual health insurance inquiries and follow through to resolution
- Provide accurate product and service information
- Maintain client records and documentation in our database
- Collaborate with team members to solve service issues
- Complete data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with office projects as needed
- Uphold company standards while delivering outstanding client service
- Manage office supplies and front desk needs
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service focus with a passion for helping others
- Prior office or call center experience
- Proficient in Excel and general computer applications
- Detail-oriented with excellent data entry accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Adaptable, quick learner, and self-starter
- Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Insurance experience or license is a plus, but not required
