TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time, Denver or Washington DC based Strategic Account Manager. This role requires onsite attendance, with additional flexibility after successful onboarding.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business, ensuring timely, proactive communication and acting as the trusted advisor and advocate for client needs and experiences.
  • Nurture and strengthen client relationships by consistently delivering value, addressing evolving business needs, and strategically driving client satisfaction to support strong retention and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Manage and close renewals for assigned clients.
  • Identify and qualify upsell opportunities by developing a strong understanding of client needs and workflows, to present strategic solutions and expand Kharon's footprint within client organizations.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Kharon’s platform, its full range of features, advantages, and services, while cultivating key relationships and monitoring competitive risks.
  • Conduct regular strategic business reviews with key accounts
  • Act as the principal conduit between clients and Kharon's diverse business divisions, guaranteeing unparalleled service and solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that capture client goals, organizational structures, and retention/growth strategies.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Account Management or a closely related client-facing role, preferably in a high-growth B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing B2B data or software renewals, with a strong track record of driving retention, identifying expansion opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Solid understanding of key compliance regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC) requirements, sanctions programs, financial crimes compliance, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices, as well as business intelligence research, conflict and illicit finance analysis, banking sector risk management, or national security–related regulatory matters.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% annually for client meetings, conferences, and internal events, with the flexibility to support client needs as they arise.

Your adeptness in resolving inquiries spanning content, technical aspects, and sales will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and facilitating the Sales team in securing new business and renewals. By developing a profound understanding of Kharon’s platform, its capabilities, and staying abreast of updates, you will serve as the go-to resource for clients and internal stakeholders alike, contributing significantly to our mission of revolutionizing global security intelligence.
