Production Team Member/ Screen Printer

Khaos Apparel is looking for a hard-working Production Team Member, specifically a screen printer to assist in the manufacturing process of custom apparel. As a Screen Printer/Production Team Member your responsibilities include but are not limited to keeping the production area clean and organized, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, following the production schedule to ensure that deadlines are met, and strictly following the company’s policies and procedures.

To be a successful member of our production team, you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. Our team members should also be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Job Summary

• This position largely interacts with internal personnel.

• Accuracy is required in performing all functions of the positions within established standards; errors in work could cause delays in schedules and result in loss of revenue.

• This position relies on efficiency and strict quality standards.

• This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on–time daily.

• This position requires superior hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.

• May on a continuous basis walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 45 lbs while practicing proper safety procedures, as well as work in a standing position for extended periods of time, 5 -8 hours daily.

Responsibilities and Duties

Learn the entire screen printing process including:

• How to clean, emulsion, and expose screens

• Align screens for printing

• Run manual and automated printing presses

• Count, fold and box products for shipping

• Maintain clean work area.

• Job would require 3-8 hours daily of screen printing, and other related duties

• Proof order to make sure products get printed properly

Additional Duties & Order Fulfillment Duties:

• Work with management and sales personnel to ensure proper print, confirming all details such as size, colors and placement on garment

• Work with production manager and sales personnel to schedule printing

• Packing orders for shipment

• Organizing inventory

• General store duties

Qualifications and Skills

We are willing to train, but experience is preferred.

Position requires a positive attitude, close attention to detail, dependable and consistent attendance, and ability to work in a fast paced environment to set-up and operate a screen printing press.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to maintain speed and efficiency with little supervision.

Committed to excellent customer service.

Strong Basic Computer Skills: Comfort with the internet, E-Mail and the ability to learn additional computer programs.

Support and adhere to all company policies,procedures and guidelines.
