We are seeking friendly, organized, and outgoing individuals to join our team as a Host/Hostess at our Korean BBQ restaurant. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave
- Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently
- Seat guests in a timely manner while balancing server sections
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about wait times and menu offerings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
- Assist servers and staff as needed to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism
- Coordinate with team members to manage table flow and maximize seating
Qualifications:
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Familiarity with Korean BBQ or restaurant operations
