Summary:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for D365 within distribution center operations, particularly Warehouse Management and Inventory modules.
- Partner with operations leadership to identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes through system configuration or functionality.
- Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and coordinating with IT/ERP teams as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials to ensure effective adoption of D365 functionality across warehouse staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, supply chain, transportation, finance) to support system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of system changes, upgrades, and new features.
- Monitor system performance, reporting, and data accuracy to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Act as a liaison between distribution centers and corporate ERP teams, translating operational needs into system requirements.
- Support reporting and analytics efforts to provide insights into distribution performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGPCo Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
- Participate in job site safety and hazard analysis.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain/Warehouse Management modules strongly preferred).
- 3 years of experience in distribution center, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes (receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, cycle counting, inventory control).
- Ability to translate operational challenges into system solutions.
- Experience with system testing, training, and user support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP system implementation or upgrades (D365 F&O, AX, or similar)
- Knowledge of EDI, transportation systems, or related supply chain applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short communications, and memos; draft simple written correspondence; and effectively communicate in one-on-one or small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Capable of performing calculations involving American currency and standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
- The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
