Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in El Segundo, CA. The Lighting Designer will be responsible for developing and implementing creative lighting solutions for a wide range of architectural and interior design projects. Key responsibilities include designing lighting concepts, creating plans and details, selecting appropriate fixtures and controls, and collaborating with project teams to meet design and performance requirements. Additionally, the role involves managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with technical and aesthetic standards, and providing innovative and practical lighting strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Lighting Design, Lighting, and Architectural Lighting
- Experience with Lighting Control systems to achieve energy efficiency and user comfort
- Proficiency in Interior Design with a focus on integrating lighting into architectural spaces
- Understanding of sustainable design practices and emerging technologies in lighting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse design teams
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software
- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred
