What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADL (Activities of Daily Living) Coach position at KG?
The current opportunity involves working with an adult male client in his 20's who is seeking support with ADLs and IADLs, as well as social skills and goal setting. We are particularly interested in connecting with individuals who have experience in supportive therapeutic settings and individuals looking to gain additional experience in a collaborative coaching role.
The position would include 2-3 hour sessions, ideally two to three days per week. Afternoon availability is preferred, though weekday or weekend options are flexible. We anticipate starting with a lighter schedule and increasing hours as the client becomes more comfortable.
Responsibilities include meeting with the client and accompanying him to community based activities (e.g., coffee outings, appointments, or 12 step meetings), processing interactions, and building rapport to support his progress. The client is a talented artist and musician, and connecting through these shared interests is encouraged.
Pay: $50.00 per hour
