Position Summary:
The Operations Manager for our commercial cleaning company plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing daily operations to ensure efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and client satisfaction. This is a hands-on, field-based position that requires active involvement at job sites, strong leadership, and a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate must have direct, hands-on experience in commercial cleaning operations and a proven ability to manage cleaning teams in the field.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. The successful candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and accurately translate in both languages.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support cleaning staff, including training and ensuring consistency in service quality
- Maintain a strong field presence by conducting regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Evaluate cleaning results, identify areas needing improvement, address issues immediately
- Primary contact for field teams and clients, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
- Monitor cleaning operations to ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance
- Provide hands-on training on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures
- Manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Monitor performance and continuously improve service delivery through best practices and process improvements
- Keep current with the latest cleaning tools, techniques, and industry standards
Qualifications:
- Must have 2–3 years of hands-on operations experience in commercial cleaning (required)
- Required: proven experience in commercial cleaning operations; candidates without field experience will not be considered.”
- Strong eye for detail to ensure cleaning work meets standards
- Demonstrated skill in guiding and supporting cleaning teams in the field
- Ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with clients
- Proven expertise in cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies.
- Understanding of safety procedures and compliance requirements
- Capable of managing several locations and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cleaning management software
- Bilingual Proficiency in English and Spanish required

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Must successfully complete a background check.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 per year
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
