- Develop global sourcing roadmap and tiered carrier panel
- Lock structure into MSAs and routing guide to reduce rate dispersion
- Lead competitive bids and direct negotiations for transport and related programs
- Secure benchmark pricing and favorable terms
- Manage KPIs and benefits ledger
- Set thresholds to ensure durable, auditable savings
- Maintain contract templates and enforce policy compliance
- Implement price-protection, insurance, and dual-sourcing for critical lanes
- Partner with Logistics, Finance, and Legal on priorities, budgets, and standards
- 7-10 years in procurement with focus on transportation/freight; global scope preferred
- Expertise in strategic transportation sourcing across multiple modes; Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Commercial acumen in rate structures, surcharges, and fee policies; Ability to time events to market conditions
- Proven track record of multi-million-dollar savings through consolidation, standardized terms, and disciplined governance
- Skilled in savings modeling, variance analysis, and working-capital optimization
- Clear, executive-ready communication; Ability to influence across operations, finance, and regional stakeholders
