Junior Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Scrum Master in Plantation, FL. Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Scrum Master to support our Agile teams in delivering high-impact integration projects. The ideal candidate will have foundational Scrum knowledge, hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, and a strong understanding of system integration processes. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their Agile career while contributing to complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-groomed product backlog
• Help identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress
• Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment
• Track and report on key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts)
• Coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders involved in integration efforts
• Ensure alignment between development, QA, DevOps, and external systems teams
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the team
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile team support role
• Exposure to or experience with integration projects (e.g., APIs, middleware, data pipelines)
• Basic understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
