Summary: In this role, you will help forecast and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and assist with budgets. - Analyze and produce balance sheet and net interest income forecasts, manage asset/liability modeling
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management and regulatory reports for review by senior finance leaders
- Assist with the development and analysis of operating and capital budgets; Identify areas for improvement
- Prepare quarterly liquidity stress testing and coordinate credit stress testing analysis
- Analyze financial data and performance and report findings to management
- Prepare and present monthly analysis of the investment securities portfolio
- Perform profitability and financial analyses for products, services, programs, and departments
- Conduct broker analysis for investment services and annual reviews
- Calculate monthly provision for credit losses
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports
- Develop and maintain effective controls, systems, and procedures
- Research and analyze bank activities, fiscal conditions, and recommend actions
- Stay current on accounting, regulatory, tax, audit, and industry developments
- Assist in developing reports for potential acquisitions
- Maintain knowledge of BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC regulatory requirements; Ensure compliance and training
- Perform special projects or assignments for Senior Finance Officer and Controller as required
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/business or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience in the banking industry
- 3 years of experience with financial reporting which includes knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in a Banking environment
- Experience with financial analysis, interest rate risk management and investment securities
- Superior organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication, written and verbal skills
