Description
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR/Billing Manager in Baltimore, MD. Duties:
AR/Billing Manager will provide day-to-day guidance and oversight for a small Accounts Receivable team
Review billing and invoicing activity for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Oversee high-volume invoice generation, processing, and distribution
Perform AR reconciliations and analysis across multiple billing and financial systems
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, adjustments, and complex billing scenarios
Support bad debt analysis and AR-related reporting
As an AR/Billing Manager, you will assist with internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and research
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes
Utilize Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and analytical support
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable or billing experience
Prior experience leading or mentoring team members
Experience working with multiple financial or billing systems
Strong understanding of AR processes and financial statement impact
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)
Strong attention to detail and ability to support audits and reporting needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-volume or complex billing environments
ERP or financial system experience (e.g., Workday or similar)
Prior audit or compliance support experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
