RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a UI Developer.
Responsibilities:
* Design and build user-facing web experiences that align with UX strategy and front-end engineering standards
* Translate Figma concepts into responsive, production-ready HTML, CSS, and TypeScript code
* Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to modernize design-to-code workflows
* Support a shift from static design artifacts to reusable coded components and interactive prototypes
* Work within Angular environments, currently Angular 19 with movement toward Angular 20
* Help teammates adapt to evolving design and development practices through clear communication and collaboration
* Contribute to scalable design systems, component libraries, and front-end best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong UX/UI design skills with hands-on Figma experience
* Experience translating wireframes, prototypes, and design specs into usable front-end experiences
* Experience with reusable components within the context of design system workflows preferred
* Professional Angular and/or React development experience
* Strong TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development skills
* Comfortable working directly in codebases, repositories, and collaborative engineering workflows
* Ability to build production-ready UI from design concepts and product requirements
* Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills
* Ability to work closely with UX, product, engineering, and technical product owner teams
* Adaptable mindset as UX and front-end development practices evolve
* Experience mentoring, pairing, or guiding others through new tools and processes
* Portfolio with clickable, coded web examples, not static image-only samples or Github with code examples (as long as there is a way to see design skills)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
