We are partnering on a confidential search for a highly respected global organization seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to serve as a key technical partner within a lean, high-impact IT environment.
This is not a siloed security role. This position sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity operations, cloud security, and enterprise systems administration. The environment is intentionally lean, giving this person broad ownership across both infrastructure and security initiatives with direct visibility to senior leadership and meaningful influence on technical direction.

Duties:
* Administer and secure Windows and Linux environments (nice to have)
* Manage and enhance identity/security controls across Active Directory, Azure/Entra, SaaS, and cloud platforms
* Support hybrid infrastructure including virtualization, cloud, networking, and endpoint environments
* Monitor and investigate security events across SIEM, EDR, and monitoring platforms
REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal Background:
* We are looking for someone who enjoys operating broadly across both infrastructure and cybersecurity responsibilities rather than staying narrowly focused within one silo
Strong experience in several of the following areas is preferred:
* Windows and/or Linux systems administration
* Active Directory/Azure/Entra ID
* SIEM technologies (Splunk preferred)
* EDR platforms (CrowdStrike preferred)
* Vulnerability management and remediation
* Incident response and threat detection
* Cloud security (Azure and/or AWS)
* Networking, firewalls, and infrastructure security
* PowerShell and/or Python automation
* VMware or hybrid infrastructure environments
Preferred Experience
* Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or legal
* Ability to operate independently within lean technical environments
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Security certifications are a plus
This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful ownership, technical breadth, and the opportunity to directly influence the security and infrastructure direction of a globally operating organization.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
